Discuss injuries to players International Domestic results who's going to be the next big thing? Talk about all of that in here!

Is Brett Lee's Test career over? I think it is he's struggled with injuries in the last 18 months, I think Lee can still play in the limted overs arena, but over five days he's body just can't stand up to the pressure any more.

Thoughts?

Last night India cruised to victory over Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka made 213 all out, With Sangakkara the top scorer with 68.

India easily reached the target making 2/214 with Gambhir and Kohli making 71.

The best of the bowlers for India were Zaheer Khan and Mishra taking 3 each.

All of the Sri Lankan bowlers were expensive.

Redbacks where bowled out for 131.

Naved Got a hat-trick in the 16th over then the next ball Cosgrove got run out. Next over the tail was dismissed.

Chaotic stuff. I think Tassie will be able to chase down this total fairly comfortably.

Redbacks win by 23 runs Tassie finished 9/108.

They started poorly and never recoverd. After the first 2 balls they were 2/0 and Tait was on a hat-trick, but didn't get it. Geeves provided some big hitting but it was all to late.

Good bowling performance by SA, and a well deserved win.

Ricky Ponting was voted player of the 2000's well deserved IMO. Here's the top ten that featured in the list.

The Top 10
Ricky Ponting 60 points (13 No. 1s, 6 No. 2s, 9 No. 3s)
Jacques Kallis 37 (5, 9, 4)
Adam Gilchrist 29 (7, 3, 2)
Muttiah Muralitharan 27 (3, 5, Cool
Glenn McGrath 24 (3, 5, 5)
Sachin Tendulkar 23.5 (3, 5, 4.5)
Shane Warne 20.5 (3. 5. 1.5)
Brian Lara 3 (1, 0, 0)
Rahul Dravid 2 (0, 0, 2)
Shivnarine Chanderpaul 1 (0, 0, 1)

I thought that Brian Lara should have gotten more votes then he did, sure everyone in that list is quality, but I would have expected Lara to have atleast 10 votes.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field.
India are playing Banglasdesh in a Test match. They lost some overs because of fog. At Lunch India are 0/63

Sehwag 38*
Gambhir 22*

Solid start by India, they will be hoping to continue that after Lunch.

India are now 8/213 Sehwag made a quickfire 51 before being dismissed. Tendulkar is still out there on 76* he will be hoping the tail can stay with him so he can bring up his 44th Test Centery. Al Hasan and Hossain have both taken 4 wickets each. I think Banglasdesh would be happy to restrict India to anything under 250.

another ton to sachin, shows he still has it, yes it was against bangladesh but they are still a test nation so it all counts. by looking at the scores it is probably a bowlers pitch.

In the First Test between India and SA India we're humbled by the South Africans with Amla making a career best of 253* and Kallis making 173, Sehwag mad a hundred but it wasn't enogh to save India from an embarrising defeat, India will be hoping that they can make a huge improvement from the first Test.
